Alex is currently residing in Beverly, Massachusetts with her wife and three cats; Bear, Moose, and Grey Poupon (aka Poupy). Graduating from Montserrat College of Art in 2014 with a BFA in Sculpture, Alex can now be found painting or drawing. Upon entering college she received a small kraft brown sketchbook and started writing and drawing in it as a form of consistency and comfort while dealing with ongoing depression and anxiety. Ten years, many iced coffees, and thirty sketchbooks later she can still be found scribbling away in these at the end of the day. The notebooks have been a jumping off point for the imagery and text better found in her current focus. Bright colors, wonky lettering and simple line work are a common theme in her paintings.
